Questions arise around All Blacks hygiene regulations as bizarre bag clips emerges online

Questions have arisen around the procedures that the All Blacks rugby team have in terms of hygiene after a clip emerged showing the team all handling the same bags.

The video was released by New Zealand on their social media last weekend, as we see the team unloading all their bags from their coach into a hotel.

New Zealand currently only has 52 active cases of COVID-19, after the country has courageously managed to keep the virus at bay. However, does this mean their most lucrative team can completely abandon every notion of social distancing even within their own bubble?

The video has drawn many questions about being bizarre and unneseccary. Some believe this was filmed as a publicity stunt by Ian Foster to convince the media that his team are all still cohesive and unified.

One comment on social media under this video resonated with us.

'Great way to ensure if one guy has Covid they'll infect the whole squad'.

We have seen in sports like football that single cases of Coronavirus have emerged within a team, however it has seldom spread throughout the entire team. In this case, though it looks like the entire All Blacks team would come down with the virus if there had been a single case.

Other were also not too sure about why this was happening...

The Rugby Onslaught investigation team will continue to monitor.
