Nigel Owens has his say on the Josh Adams yellow card that left Johnny Sexton in agony

Refereeing legend Nigel Owens has had his say on the yellow card given to Wales outside centre Josh Adams in the second half against Ireland today in the Six Nations.

Adams was sent to the sin bin by referee Jaco Peyper for a reckless tackle off the ball to Sexton after he had failed to retrieve a kick behind the Irish defensive line. There was not much of an attempt to wrap the arms in the tackle, but Peyper said it was a yellow, rather than red, because there was no contact to the head, which is debatable as well.

Take a look:

Owens agrees with his former colleague Peyper though, saying it was a yellow card because he led with the shoulder off the ball, but made no head contact.
