Entire world sees Adam Hastings' soul leave his body at hands of 123kg Fijian

We do not say this lightly when we say one of the biggest hits of the year was produced at Murrayfield today as Scotland hosted Fiji.

Scotland fly-half Adam Hastings was the unlucky recipient of a monstrous hit from Fiji's 123kg lock Ratu Leone Rotuisolia. It came in the second half as Scotland were leading 14-12, with Hastings scoring his side's second try just before half time thanks to a dummy. He attempted that same dummy in the second half, but it is fair to say it did not go as well as the first.

Rotuisolia truly marmalised the Scot, who was forced from the field in pain. The best thing is that it was a completely textbook, legal hit. This marked a mixed debut for Rotuisolia who was actually yellow carded within seconds of his debut.
