Boks asking serious questions after Dupont returns from surgery even better
Just checking, could Antoine Dupont do this before his surgery?
Over the past four years the France captain has played at such an absurd level that even the most rational people out there have started to question whether he is a cyborg or not. Well those questions may have been answered after his surgery.
While most of the us believed the scrum-half was having a metal plate inserted into his face after fracturing his cheekbone against Namibia in September, that was just a ruse to allow France technicians to access his motherboard and increase his skill level- the evidence is plain to see.
France perhaps revealed too much this week in a video they shared online showing Dupont kicking at goal. Now the Toulouse star has kicked at goal before, but we don't remember him being this good. The 26-year-old was able to slot a touchline kick in training. Oh, and it was from about two metres from the try line. The scientists who created the Antoine Dupont that we all thought we knew have clearly upped his kicking stats, and it does not bode well for South Africa in tomorrow's World Cup quarter-final.
